Our Story
Vaga Mama began its journey in Tartu, where a passion for Asian cuisine started with the first restaurant on Ülikooli Street. Our goal was simple: bring authentic, high-quality Asian flavours to Estonian people in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Over the years, we have grown to 11 restaurants across Estonia — each location has its own character, but all share the same commitment to quality and authentic flavours.
Our Cuisine
Our menu combines the best from three rich Asian culinary traditions: traditional Chinese wok dishes, aromatic Thai curries, and handcrafted Nepalese momo dumplings.
We use only fresh ingredients and authentic spices to ensure the authenticity and taste of every dish. Our chefs have trained directly in Asian kitchens.
Kathmandu Grill & Resto
Our sister restaurant Kathmandu Grill & Resto at Tartu's Town Hall Square specializes in Nepalese cuisine and tandoori oven dishes. Same family, different experience.
